A prior consultation allows the child to be examined and the procedure explained. It is quick, done under suitable anaesthesia, and the child usually goes home the same day with simple care instructions.
This information is general and does not replace a consultation: every child is assessed individually.
The procedure is done under anaesthesia. In the following days, discomfort is usually well relieved by the prescribed painkillers and simple local care.
Healing usually takes one to two weeks. Care instructions and the follow-up date are given after the procedure.
